He also has gained experience advising companies from India and China on M&A in South Africa. Kurren now spends times with CEO’s and Chairman’s of companies in assisting them on their inorganic growth plans such as effecting right type mergers, spin off’s, restructurings etc. with the intent of increasing shareholder value.

He founded the “practice what you preach methodology” in the various consulting companies that he founded and to this end he has founded and expanded numerous of his own businesses the most successful being in the Energy, Water and Infrastructure sectors. He currently has experience in about 20 countries with networks in the specific government structures which are critical for doing business in Africa. Rayhaan has experience working with large clients some of whom are listed in South Africa and others internationally, in the Mining, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Telecommunications and FMCG industries.
